Daniel Schönpflug

Daniel Schönpflug is professor of history at the Free University of Berlin and academic coordinator at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin (Berlin Institute for Advanced Study). His research area embraces Europe from the eighteenth through to the twentieth centuries, especially the history of revolutions — from 1789 to 1917–1918 — in their tight interrelationship with global events.
