Vladislav Kruchinsky (b. 1988, Moscow) is an artist and researcher. He graduated in Oriental and African Studies from the Russian State University for the Humanities in 2010 and is a Candidate of Historical Sciences (2016). His research is focused on the history and anthropology of Southern Africa, and he teaches Afrikaans and the history of South Africa at Moscow State Institute of International Relations. As an artist, he runs the hybrid media platform Toxik Komsomolets. He works with India ink and watercolor on paper.
