"The word Lampoon appeared before my eyes while reading a book by Orson Welles - we were talking about The Harvard Lampoon: in English, Lampoon means magazine - ironic, pungent magazine. A magazine produced in universities capable of giving a voice to fierce, fast, Ivy League students. I've always been fascinated by that world of brains, love and sweat - and so I wrote in my notes: The Fashionable Lampoon. Snob & Pop - is Lampoon's DNA. Mix the top and the bottom, the aristocratic with the commercial. Every era of glory for the economy and costume shone with this mix: fashion was gorgeous when Lady Diana went out with Elton John. "
