Rock wasn’t born on a particular day -nor was it invented by a single person. It emerged in the US from the combination of different sounds such as blues, jazz, country or rhythm and blues, among others. In the 50s some musicians mixed those genres without being aware that that new rhythm would stir a great revolution. This book narrates that revolution: bands, festivals, songs and essential albums, urban tribes, sound formats, styles, media, record labels… Everything!
