The purpose of this monograph is to highlight the diverse activities of Mikhail Vasilyevich Posokhin, to determine his place in the general mainstream of the development of Soviet architecture and at the same time to consider the creative path of the master. The main attention in the book is paid to the realized plans as architectural works that, in a certain sense, have stood the test of time. At the same time, a significant place is given to projects, graphic works (drawings and paintings), as well as Posokhin’s scientific and journalistic activities. Only by considering all aspects of the work of this fruitfully working architect as a whole can one appreciate the breadth of his interests.
