Carlos Motta: History's Back Rooms

New York–based Colombian artist Carlos Motta (born 1978) uses film, photography and sculpture to explore gender, sexuality and body politics in the historical narratives of Colombia and Latin America. This first monograph on Motta documents 20 years of work, including early drawings and ’90s performance works.
