Russian Wooden. A View from the XXI Century

One of the most notable books of the publishing house, published in cooperation with the Shchusev Museum of Architecture — “Russian Wooden. A View from the XXI Century” — in the footsteps of the exhibition of the same name, held at the end of 2015. Usually a catalog is published for the exhibition, but this is exactly a book — a study and panorama of wooden architecture in Russia. Russian wooden art in the open air, the architecture of the Russian avant-garde (not so far removed from church architecture as it seems), manor houses of the 19th century, Soviet dacha construction, the work of volunteers and scientists, and much more.
