Peggy Guggenheim

Peggy Guggenheim was a patron and collector of modern art, the daughter of mining magnate Benjamin Guggenheim and niece of art collector Solomon R. Guggenheim, the founder of the famous art museum in New York. Peggy Guggenheim gathered a large collection of American and European art of the twentieth century, now exhibited in a Venetian palazzo where she spent the last three decades of her life.
