Johan Idema

Johan Idema is a Dutch art consultant, writer, and cultural entrepreneur. He specializes in creative concept development, business planning, strategic and innovation management and fundraising. Idema has extensive experience as a senior arts consultant at Dutch consultancy firm LAgroup. His clients have included major Dutch cultural institutions, such as the Van Gogh Museum and Design Academy Eindhoven. His publications include Beyond the Black Box and the White Cube (2009),  Present! – Rethinking Live Classical Music (2011), and How to Visit an Art Museum: Tips for a Truly Rewarding Visit (2014).
