Guy Standing

Guy Standing is a British researcher, teacher, and specialist in the economics of labor. He is co-founder and joint president of the Basic Income Earth Network – a non-governmental organization bringing together economists, philosophers, and other scholars promoting the adoption of the “unconditional basic income” economic policy, which proposes the guaranteed satisfaction of the minimal material needs of all citizens. From 1993 to 1996, Standing sat on the Advisory Council of the Russian Federal Employment Service. He is the author of numerous publications and books on questions of labor relations in the modern world.
