Wim Delvoye. Cloaca

Since the first public Cloaca Original’ performance at Antwerp’s MuHKA in 2000, Wim Delvoye’s Cloaca project has been endlessly enriched and enlarged, and now totals eight machines, hundreds of drawings, scale models, stereoscopic photographs, x-rays, bonds and derivatives, and the excrement produced by the machines – now vacuum packed and safe in various art collections. The full extent of the project is documented here, extensively illustrated and published on glossy paper, presented bound in a soft brown leather cover. An advertisement (or is it a special poster?) designed by the artist is also included.
